NEURO INTEGRATION
Using the brain to guide healing of the body, neuro integration is an assessment and treatment tool to ensure the nervous system pathways are working for optimum health. Often, we may experience ill-health despite treatment and interventions; this may be because the neural controls are not working as they should, and therefore no amount of treatment will correct our body’s dysfunction. Neuro integration using the NIS system of muscle testing and non-invasive corrective procedures, allows the brain to identify and restore signalling for a balanced, healthy system.
Our standard treatment protocol for new patients is an initial appointment, followed by a 2nd appointment 2-3 weeks later, and final appointment 3-4 weeks after. Following that, most clients like to keep regular maintenance appointments 1-4 times per year to keep in balance. If you have seen another NIS practitioner in the last 2 years, you are welcome to book a maintenance appointment.

NATUROPATHY
Our naturopathy service is designed to dive deeper into the underlying causes of your health concern; looking at how we can support the natural healing processes of the body.
Alongside an in-depth consultation, we offer dietary analysis, blood test analysis, functional testing and iridology to get a complete picture of your health concern. Personalised treatment options include research-backed dietary, exercise and lifestyle advice, medicinal herbs and supplements.
Our approach is to keep treatment solutions simple and manageable, working alongside you to find out what fits with your life.
For new clients, an initial consultation of around 90 minutes is required to get a full case history, along with a follow-up in 2-3 weeks.
For those new to Headfirst Health, we would recommend starting with our neuro integration service first. This would include three appointments over around 6 weeks. Following that, naturopathic consultations could then be booked to address any ongoing issues, or provide preventative health support through dietary, herbal medicine, supplementary and lifestyle advice.
Because of our passion for helping children, all youth appointments receive a 20% discount.
ABOUT US
Empowering Your Health Naturally
Claire is a trained and registered naturopath, and Advanced NIS practitioner that can assist with many health conditions. She is detail-driven and loves to dive into the latest research to support treatment recommendations.
Her background in children’s motor programming and learning assistant work has led to a passion for how the brain works; particularly in helping children with developmental and learning difficulties, along with those having difficulty coping with stress, or athletes struggling to recover from concussion. Her training in neuro integration completes the picture for treating clients holistically through both naturopathy and NIS.
Claire has lived in the Bay of Plenty for 20 years, raising two children with her husband, along with countless chickens and a few kunekune pigs. Her love of cooking simple, whole food is reflected in her naturopathic approach.
